Thornewill & Warham winding engine at Elliott Colliery

The Winding House Museum in New Tredegar, South Wales, is the new Caerphilly County Borough Museum. It incorporates the impressive Thornewill and Warham winding engine and its engine house, on the site of the former Elliott Colliery.

The winding engine was described in Engineering 1892/09/30 and Engineering 1892/10/14
