1941 The company, which was registered in England, was incorporated on 26 August as K. A. C. Limited.

It was founded by J McEwan King to produce a range of aircraft components, including pilots' seats and parachute harness release gear.[1]

1961 The name of the company changed on 8 May to H. K. Porter Company (Great Britain) Limited[2]
