Jack Meek (1886-1959) of J. Meek and Co

1928 Director of Milletts Stores (1928). Of Shenstone House, Broughton Park, Manchester, a Waterproof Manufacturer.[1]

1947 Jack Meek, raincoat manufacturer, of Upper Park Road, Salford.[2]

1959 Died. 'Under the hammer next will the modern factory built for the fashion rainwear firm Mr Jack Meek at Derby-street, Cheetham, Manchester Over 60 years Mr Meek built the firm from nothing to a business employing 1,000 people The business ended with his death months ago'[3]
