Sir Eric Mensforth, C.B.E., D.L., F.Eng

  • Son of Holberry (later Sir Holberry) Mensforth
  • Eric Mensforth wrote an excellent book, 'Family Engineers', which looks at episodes in his own life and that of his father, and of other relations. It also gives a wide-ranging account of the activities of many other engineers and politicians, as well as notable engineering companies of the 20th century. The emphasis is on John Brown and Co[1]
