School of Ballooning: Delta
Note: This is a sub-section of School of Ballooning.
The maiden flight of Delta was in September 1912. It had a capacity of 175,000 cubic feet with an envelope of Continental rubber-proofed fabric. It was powered by two White and Poppe 110-hp engines and had a top speed of 40 mph with a crew of five.
Shown at the Aero Show in February 1913.
She came part of Admiralty on 1st January 1914 and no other record of her in known.
