Mansfield Railway
A ten mile long line built by local business people connected Kirkby-in-Ashfield (GCR) with Clipstone (LD&ECR) and had connections to five collieries. It opened first to Mansfield Colliery in 1913 and completely in 1916 for goods. Passenger services started in 1917.
