- 1887 Gorton and Co built vertical boiler locomotives and supplied to Pease and Partners for the Normanby Iron Works
- 1900 The company was registered on 18 July, to acquire the private business of a company of the same name. [1]
- 1927 Pease and Partners had a controlling interest in the Normanby Iron Works[2].
- 1951 Nationalised under the Iron and Steel Act; became part of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain[3]
This may or may not be connected:
- 1956 Normanby Estate Co purchased Coleby Ironstone Co from the Holding and Realization Agency, thereby returning the company to its previous owner (through Crosby Ironstone Co)[4].
