- 1892 Incorporated as a limited company.
- 1894 Commenced manufacture of close joint tubes.
- 1898 Began manufacturing fencing.
- 1914 Steel rolling mills, close joint and electric welded tube mills, fencing manufacturers. Employees 350. [1]
- 1951 Nationalised under the Iron and Steel Act; became part of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain[2]
- 1953 Sold by Holding and Realization Agency to J. Brockhouse and Co[3].
