1967 Peter Hamilton Equipment and Hydraulic Machinery reported record sales of Hy-Mac hydraulic excavators[1]

By 1968 was a subsidiary of Powell Duffryn

1968 Queen's Award to Industry for Export Achievement [2]

1969 Powell Duffryn acquired the remaining 14.5 percent of the company that it did not already own, from Alexander Shand[3]
