O.C.O. manufacturing based Olympia House/ Mill, Selby, Yorks which operated the largest linseed oil crushing and refining plant in Europe.
It also processed hardening whale oil.
Joseph Watson suffered substantial losses in an unsuccessful speculation in linseed oil for his plant and Olympia Oil & Cake was sold to the Dutch firm Jurgens, which had outbid Levers. [1]
