William Galloway (1768–1836) of Galloway, Bowman and Glasgow

1790 Moved to Manchester from Coldstream and was in business in Manchester as a millwright
1796 Birth of son William Galloway
In 1796 his business was based at Lombard Street, but by about 1806 he had joined with James Bowman, and their business, Galloway and Bowman was established at the Caledonia Foundry.[1]
1804 Birth of son John Galloway
Trading as Galloway, Bowman and Glasgow
1830 Marriage of Isabella, the third daughter of William Galloway to Evan Mellor [2]
1836 William died
1855 January 8th. His wife died age 87 years.[3]
