1799 'IRON WORKS: To be disposed of - CANNOCK WOOD & RUGELEY IRON WORKS, Consisting of Three Forges and a Mill; the Rugeley Forges stands close to the Banks of the Grand Trunk Canal. These Works are well situated for Charcoal, and particularly well calculated for making best Iron, in all its Branches ; are well supplied with Water, and not subject to Floods. N.B. This rolling and slitting Mill has 23 feet head and fall, is newly and very substantially built. For further particulars enquire Mr Barker, banker, Lichfield; and Henry Imms will shew the premises.
