1883 1000 HP horizontal tandem compound engine for No. 1 mill of Vernon Cotton Spinning Co of Stockport. Cylinders 30" and 54" diameter, 6 ft stroke. Flywheel 28 ft dia. Designed by J B Hamond, Managing Director[1]

1886 engine for No. 2 mill of Vernon Cotton Spinning Co. Reference: as above
