Charles Duckering (1841-1916) Richard Duckering of Water Side Works, Rosemary Lane, Lincoln.
1841 May 25th. Born the son of Richard Duckering and his wife Mary Jane Norton
Took over the business from his father (presumably when his father died in 1870)
1911 Living at 101 Monks Road Hastings Lincoln: Charles Duckering (age 69 born St. Swithin, Lincoln), Engineer and Iron Founder and an Employer. With his wife (married 45 years with four children) Sarah Ann Duckering (age 69 born St. Benedict, Lincoln) and their daughter Lizzie Jane Duckering (age 42 born St. Swithin, Lincoln).[1]
1912 Retired from the family business
1916 December 17th. Died age 75
1917 Probate. Of Monks road, Lincoln, granted to Richard Duckering, Iron Founder
