William Palmer

Engineer of Long Eaton, Derbyshire.
1812 Patented the use of a connected series of endless chain of rollers a s substitute for the wheels of carriages. There were, according to Mr. Young, two applications of this invention-one as revolving rollers, and the other revolving roller wheels. [1]
