1860 Patent. '683. And to Alfred Vincent Newton, of the Office for Patents, No. 66, hancery-lane, in the county of Middlesex, Mechanical Draughtsman, for the invention of "an improved construction of nail plate feeder." - A communication to him from abroad, by John Waldron Hoard and Thomas A. Searle, of Providence, Rhode Island, in the United States of America.'[1]

Died 1900 aged 81.[2]
