Sir Alfred Molyneux Palmer (c.1853-1935), Tyneside shipbuilder and Chairman of the Tyne Improvement Commission
Son of the Sir Charles Mark Palmer, Liberal M.P. for Jarrow and founder of the Palmer Iron and Shipbuilding Co.
1910 succeeded to the title on the death of his brother.
Director of John Bowes and Partners, Ltd.
Chairman of the Bede Metal and Chemical Co., Ltd., and of Palmer, Hall and Co.
1935 Died at Wimbledon at the age of 82
