Thomas Meynell (1763-1854) of the Friarage, Yarm, and of Kilvington Hall, near Thirsk

1763 April 11th. Born at Crathorne, N. Yorks, the son of Joseph Meynell and his wife Frances Newsam

1804 August 28th. Married in London to Theresa Mary Wright

1822 Meynell was Chairman of the Stockton and Darlington Railway

1851 Living at Kilvington: Thomas Meynell (age 75 born Yarm), Justice of Peace and Deputy lieutenant and a Widower. With his daughter Teresa Meynell (age 24 born Yarm). Also three visitors and eight servants.[1]

1854 Died

Had son Thomas Meynell, junior, who on 1863 March 24th, died in London age 57. [2]
