1932 Obituary [1]

DENIS DEVINE was born at Coatbridge in 1880 and received his technical education at the Airdrie Academy, where he later became an assistant teacher at evening classes.

From 1899 to 1903 he served his apprenticeship with Messrs. John Dick and Sons of Coatbridge. After further experience in repair and erection work he joined in 1905 the staff of Messrs. Stewarts and Lloyds, with whom his career was subsequently associated, chiefly on the technical side of their sales organization.

Mr. Devine was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1918.

His death occurred on 29th December 1932.
