1933 The British Klemm Aeroplane Co was set up at Hanworth, Middlesex in 1933 by Major E. F. Stephen.

1935 He changed the name to the British Aircraft Manufacturing Co.

Produced the popular German Klemm L25 known in the UK as the BK Swallow 1.
