FREDERICK WHITTAKER SCOTT died at his residence, South Cliff, Reddish, in October 1903, at the age of sixty years.
More than twenty years ago he established the large business of the Atlas Wire Ropemaking Works, Reddish, of which he was the head up to the time of his death.
He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1897.
