1871 Patent. '2234. To James Jennings Campbell, of London, in the county of Middlesex, but at present residing at Glasgow, in the county of Lanark, North Britain, for the invention of "improvements in the packing of the tubes of surface condensers."'[1]

1911 Lodging at 36 Brondesbury Villas, Kilburn: James Jennings Campbell (age 63 born Sangor Bengal, India), Civil and Mechanical Engineer - Shipping Register. With his wife Nettie Harriette Campbell (age 43 born Bangor).[2]
