- 1891 The company was founded in Tunstall.
- 1892 It moved to Hanley the following year. It first made domestic ware such as basins and ewers, later moving into tableware and giftware.
- 1929 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Manufacturers of Earthenware Dinner, Tea, and Toilet, Printed and Decorated; also Hotel and Restaurant Ware in various styles. Up-to-date Decorations in Fruit and Sandwich Sets, Teapots, Jugs, Cheese Dishes, Plant Pots, Vases. etc. (Stand No. G.6)
- 2000 When the pottery closed, Christopher Weatherby, the great-great grandson of company founder John Henry Weatherby, was Chairman of the company.
