1859 William Teall was the proprietor of Ings Foundry.
1899 Advert: 'For sale ... a Pair of 200-Horse Power Horizontal Engines, with 100lbs. steam, built by Teall, Wakefield, in 1891. Cylinders 15 in. bore; stroke 2ft, 6in. Heavy fly-wheel, 8ft. by 16½in. Compound valve-gear; Sight feed lubricators. Can be seen daily, working at 100lbs pressure, at the Telegraph Office. High Street, Sheffield. In excellent condition. Being replaced by more powerful engines. Cost £600 Price, £350 cash
