Bridewell Alley, Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 1AQ.

  • Before closing for refurbishment in 2009, this small museum had an excellent display of interesting machinery, including stationary steam engines and machine tools (including a historically important all-metal lathe from c.1820).
  • The museum reopened in July 2012, and appears to have a fascinating collection of items, although it has not been established how many of the old machines have been retained on display.
