1822 Born in Keighley, son of George Hattersley and his wife Elizabeth

He was a machine loom maker

1863 He married Agnes Sutcliffe in Chorley, Lancashire. They had seven children in 14 years.

1877 Birth of son Richard Edwin Hattersley in Keighley, Yorkshire, [1], and his wife Agnes.

1893 Died in Ormskirk, Lancashire, at the age of 70, and was buried in Yorkshire.
