1828 'Specification of the Patent granted to Joshua Taylor Beale, of Church-lane, Whitechapel, in the county of Middlesex, Engineer; and George Richardson Porter, of Old Broad Street, in the city of London, Merchant, for "a new mode of communicating Heat for various purposes". Dated July 19, 1828[1]
