1928 Wickman Manufacturing Co was established to make Wimet tungsten carbide tipped cutting tools.

1963 The 3 companies involved in making and selling Wimet tools were brought together in Wickman Wimet, three-quarter owned by Wickman.[1]

1964 Hard Metal Tools Ltd. and Wickman Wimet Ltd. formed into a single business from 1st April 1964 operating under the name of Wickman Wimet Ltd.[2]
