- 1879 Albert Edward Jones was born.
- For a short time he was a Birmingham Guildsman.
- 1902 He established his own business, making slightly more commercial work than the Guild and becoming increasingly successful.
- 1906 He opened workshops at 13 Windmill Street, Horse Fair, Birmingham, from where he advertised himself as an 'Art Silversmith'.
- Jones moved his business first to 111 Livery Street, Birmingham
- 1918 The business moved to 27 Pemberton Street.
- 1929 Listed Exhibitor. Manufacturer and designer of Hand-wrought Silverware; Tea-sets, Rose Bowls, Sweet and Fruit Dishes, Presentation Plate, Ecclesiastical Plate, etc. Birmingham Jewellers' and Silversmiths' Association. (Stand Nos. J.43 and J.54)
- 1954 Albert Edward Jones died.
- The firm still manufactures, on a much larger scale, at premises in Pemberton Street.
