c1836 Born in Liverpool the son of William Robinson Milnes, Silk Mercer Draper, and his wife Ann

1891 Living at 3 Alexandra Road, Birkenhead: George F. Milnes (age 55 born Liverpool), Tramway and Railway Carriage Manuf. - Employer. With his wife Carmela M. Milnes (age 9 born Greenwich) and their daughter Madeline C. Milnes (age 5 born Birkenhead). Two servants.[1]

1911 Living at 30 Fairview Road. Oxton. Birkenhead: George Frederick Milnes (age 74 born Liverpool), Retired Tram and car Builder. With his wife Carmela Mary Milnes (age 59 born Greenwich) and their daughter Madeline Carmela Milnes (age 25 born Birkenhead). Married 34 years with two children.[2]
