Yardley of London is a traditional British cosmetics brand and is one of the oldest in the world. It has been a favourite of women for over 230 years. It is owned by the Lornamead company.
English Lavender has become established as Yardley's signature fragrance around the world.
Established in 1770, Yardley had become recognised as a world leader in soap and perfumery by the beginning of the twentieth century.
By 1910, it moved to London's premier thoroughfare Bond Street.
In 1921 Yardley received its first Royal Warrant, an honour bestowed on only the finest British companies that provide outstanding service. Today, Yardley holds two Royal Warrants.
2008 The company introduced new products to their range, including English Rose and Lavender, Lily of the Valley and Lavender and two new fragrances Iris and Lavender and Peony.
