Robert Masefield (1845-1926) of R. Masefield and Co, Manor Iron Works, Manor Street, Chelsea, London, S.W.

Born at Ledbury in 1845 and died there in 1926. He was a pupil of Ordish and Le Feuvre, civil engineers of 18 Great George St and was subsequently employed in their drawing office for four years before becoming sub-manager at Holbrook & Co. He was managing partner at the Manor Iron Works for 12 years.[1]
