1920 Changed its address from 39, St. James's-street to 40-41, Conduit-street, London, W. 1.[1]
1926 The Association was supported by nine firms making motor vehicles and nine supplying fittings, steel and other material.
By 1927 Three companies that had been members of the Association had been through the hands of liquidators; amalgamations and working agreements were effected between others, with the result there was insufficient income to fulfil the agreement with the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, so this agreement was to be brought to an end at the end of the year.[2]
1931 Absorbed by the Institution of Automobile Engineers [3]
