'...the Partnership lately subsisting and carried on by Serjeant Hornblower, William Hornblower, and Abel Josiah Smith, at Brierly-Hill, in the Parish of Kingswinford, in the County of Stafford, as Iron and Steel Manufacturers, was dissolved by mutual consent on the 24th day of June last, from which time the said trades have been and will in future be carried on by the said Serjeant and William Hornblower...'[1]
