THOMAS ARTHUR ARROL died suddenly at the Palace Hotel, Aberdeen, on October 29, 1902, at the age of fifty years. Mr. Arrol was a member of the firm of Arrol's Bridge and Roof Company, Limited, Glasgow. He was a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1885.

The death announced Mr Thomas Arrol, Managing Director of Arrol's Bridge and Roof Building Company, Germiston Works. Deceased, along with his deceased brother, founded the firm of Arrol Brothers, which was 1893 turned into a Limited Liability Company.
Deceased, who was a brother of Mr. Archibald Arrol, the well-known brewer and exporter, of Dixon Street, Glasgow, was well known engineering circles, but took active part in public affairs. He was unmarried.
