With his wife Hawthorne Steeley (age 39 born Melbourne, Australia) and their five children; Norman Steeley (age 17 born Shirley, Wks), Assistant Expert in Motor and Cycle Trade; Shirley Steeley (age 15 born Shirley, Wks); Leslie Steeley (age 13 born Birmingham); Mary Steeley (age 10 born Moseley); and Elizabeth Steeley (age 2 born King's Norton). Three servants.[1]
