Short Bridge, Llanidloes

Masonry road bridge over the River Severn in the centre of Llanidloes, alongside the former Bridgend flannel mill (1834).

The bridge is dated 1849. Designed by Thomas Penson, County Surveyor, and built by Edward Jones "formerly of Dolgellau". Replaced a former timber bridge.[1]
