'... the Partnership hitherto subsisting between us the undersigned Arthur Henry Marston and William Henry Halliwell carrying on business as Cycle Makers and Factors at 40 Bailey-Lane Coventry under the style or firm of the Dolphin Cycle Company has been dissolved by mutual consent as and from the 9th day of October, 1899. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said William Henry Halliwell who will continue to trade as the Dolphin Cycle Company...'[1]
