Gamle Bybro, or Old Town Bridge is a road bridge in Trondheim, Norway

The bridge crosses the River Nidelva, and was complated in 1861, replacing the original bridge which was built in 1683–5.

The wooden 1861 bridge was designed by city engineer Carl Adolf Dahl. Near Nidelva's west bank was a twin leaf lifting section to allow the passage of sailing vessels.

The above information is taken from here. [1]

The bridge was widened in 1967, and unfortunately the lifting sections were destroyed, although the wooden portals and windlasses have been retained. The fixed main spans are wooden lattice girder structures.
