British engineer Eduardo Fossey established a foundry and engineering works in 1853.

1858 Joined by partners, establishing Fossey y Cia.

1868 The business became Fossey, Goicoechea y cía, with Fossey as Director.

Produced iron and brass castings, water turbines, papermaking machinery, coining presses, etc.
