1904 'CAWOOD, Frederick Bramwell, 68, Eyre Street, Sheffield. Is hon. sec. of the Sheffield and District Automobile Club. Car: 2/-h.p. de Dion tricycle. Has motored about 5,000 miles. Hobby: Cycling, until compelled by accident to forego long-distance riding; he competed in the early North Road 24-hours' ride. Motors for the sake of health; finds it far more fascinating than the long-distance cycling of which he had been an ardent votary for 25 years'.[1]
