This short 2.75 mile line was opened for passengers in 1874 between Halifax and North Bridge. ^[1]

1908 This line is the joint property of the Great Northern Railway and the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway companies. ^[2]

1923 Became part of London, Midland and Scottish Railway and the London and North Eastern Railway ^[3]
