1927. Bottle making machine made by the Metropolitan-Vickers.

Francis Redfern, solicitor, of 12 Mark Lane, London.

Designed a glass bottle-making machine.

With the assistance of R. F. Hall, as engineer, Sydney Hunt, as designer, and the Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Company, Ltd., as constructors, Redfern succeeded in developing a bottle-making machine superior to the best which has been made in America[1].
