1822 Joseph Miller (1797-1860) joined with John Barnes (1798-1852) (both old Soho apprentices) opened a shop at Glasshouse Fields, Ratcliff.

1838 quoted for supplying a locomotive to the North Midland Railway

1840 The company was taken over by Simpson and Co.
