1922 C.M.G., C.B.E., Director of Mather and Platt, Ltd.; b. 1878; s. of Rev. R. E. Whittington. Ed. Bath Coll. Trained: With and spent the whole of Eng. Career (except during the War) with Mather and Platt, Ltd., on administrative and commercial side of Eng. Joined R.F.C. during War, and became Brig.-Gen. and Director of Aircraft Equipment, R.A.F. Clubs: Roehampton, R.A.F., Cocoa Tree. Address: Queen Anne's Mansions, Westminster, S.W.1.
