1804 August 17th. Born in Edinburgh the son of James Glover and his wife Ann Houeson. Brother of Thomas Glover.[1]

1864 Patent application by George Glover, of the Ranelagh Works, Ranelagh-road, Pimlico, in the county of Middlesex, respect of the invention of "improvements in drygas meters."[5].
