c.1815 Eastwood and Co was formed at a time when there was a shortage of building materials for construction of houses[1]

1920 Eastwoods Ltd was incorporated as a public company to acquire and extend the business of Eastwood and Co Ltd, brick manufacturers, barge and wharf owners, and old established builders merchants[3]
