1832 Dissolution of the Partnership between John Sorby, Henry Sorby, and Alfred Sorby, as Merchants and Manufacturers of Edge-Tools, at Spital-Hill, in the Parish of Sheffield, in the County of York, under the firm of John Sorby and Sons, as concerned Henry Sorby, dissolved by mutual consent as from the 14th day of May 1832; the businesses was carried on by John Sorby and Alfred Sorby.[1]
1844 Dissolution of the partnership between Alfred Sorby, and John Francis Sorby, as Merchants and Manufacturers of Edge Tools, Sheep Shears, and other articles, at Spital-hill, in the parish of Sheffield, in the county of York, under the firm of John Sorby and Sons; the said trades carried on by William Lockwood, John Lockwood, and Joseph Lockwood, under the firm of John Sorby and Sons[2]
