...The family originally hailed from Derbyshire and came to Sheffield in 1758....In the early years of the history of the firm the original Thomas Bradbury joined in partnership with Mr. Thomas Watson, as Watson and Bradbury....around 1770 this partnership was dissolved...

Sheffield loses a much respected citizen by the death of Mr Thomas Bradbury which took place at his house in Westbourne Road, Sheffield, on the 29th ult.
