1959 Premises extensively damaged by fire.[1] Following the fire, the company moved to Kearsley Mill, near Farnworth.[2]
1959 Company incorporated.[3]
1961 Production of clothes dryers starts in Cork. Production has been started by A. J. Flatley, the Manchester domestic appliance manufacturers, at a factory in Eire. So far about 70 workers have been engaged but hope to build to 500.[4]
1962 Company ceased trading. [5]
1968 'After two years of research and development A. J. Flatley have perfected a cooker hood that has been successfully tested against far more expensive models'[6]
